We are Dough and Deer. A premium, mobile, Land Rover Pizza Van. We have two bases in both Upper Beeding, Sussex and in Teddington, South West London we provide pizza catering and pizza van hire to Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and across London.

In 2015, we converted our first pizza van by mounting a huge wood-fired pizza oven in the back of our Land Rover Defender, creating a truly mobile pizza oven.

We believe the secret to a great pizza is simplicity! We are committed to using the finest and freshest ingredients sourced from independent suppliers across the UK. We let the ingredients and our wood-fired oven do the hard work, to create the best tasting, British inspired, wood-fired pizza.

Our Mobile Land Rover Pizza Van Hire

Our military green, Land Rover Defender has been rescued from an RAF airfield and custom fitted with a huge Wood-Fired Pizza oven. Our pizza oven reaches soaring temperatures of 600 degrees and can cook a 10-inch pizza in just 90 seconds, not much queuing for you or your guests then… 

Our iconic British, Land Rover Defender pizza van is available to hire across London, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire and beyond.

Our Wood Fired Pizza Buffet Service 

A buffet of freshly cooked sour-dough style, wood-fired pizza? Yes! 

Our Pizza Buffet is the perfect way to cater for your event or function.

We can cater for groups from 20-500+ so no matter the size or type of event we can create a bespoke solution for you. 

We help you create your vey own pizza menu and then artwork this onto our blackboard menu, you can even name your pizzas inline with your party theme. We then cook and serve fresh pizza for the duration of your event so guests can come and help themselves as and when they wish.

Our Pizza buffet is the perfect catering solution for Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings, Bar mitzvah, Corporate functions etc. 

How much does a pizza van cost to hire?

The prices for our Pizza Van hire vary depending on the time of year and day of the week. Our prices are based on the number of pizzas and we have two different styles of service; buffet service by the slice and whole individual pizzas to order.

We operate a minimum spend for private hire which can vary from £895 for a midweek date lunch service to £1500 for a peak Saturday evening.

Other factors that affect price include location, serving times, speed of service, style of service and you’re menu choices. Alongside pizza we offer sumptuous seasonal salads and delicious deserts.

Occasionally we cater for smaller events outside of our minimum spends depending on our availability so its worth checking with us for a quote.
